WEEK TWO

Today officially starts my second week at college, and I can tell you right now, it does NOT feel like I've been here for a week.

A month maybe, or a year, but DEFINITELY NOT a week.

Soooo... my first week was pretty fun :] maybe not so eventful as I thought it would be, but definitely fun C: I enjoy spending time with my room and floor mates :D They are THE loveliest people :D and they totally made my week all the better.


And although I would TOTALLY LOVE to continue talking about everything that has gone on.... I can't. Food is ready, and I don't want to miss the precious and limited Swedish Meatballs C:

The past 'almost week' has been pretty eventful... kinda.. or boring. Whichever word you choose to pick..

We've officially settled and made our room our home C: (for those of you who don't remember, I'm talking about my lovely roommate, Erika -http://adayinjoyworld.blogspot.com-)
Our room is complete and ready for living! And we're very proud of it!! :DD

So far, classes haven't.. really.. started for us... yet..
TECHNICALLY, yesterday was the first day of class, but we only had prophecy and chapel. Today we were scheduled to have chapel, church history and prayer 1. BUT since chapel lasted so long, the other two classes were canceled! WOO! YAY for long church services! :DD
And so our school year continues.. minus two classes lol

Anyway... I'm not really sure what else there is going on around here...
My usual day entails: waking up, eating breakfast, having personal devotion/get dressed, go to class (then continue to whatever classes are next), eat lunch.... thennnn I either end up working or I spend the rest of the day reading or eating or just passing time with other students. Then I eat.. AGAIN, study and then do whatever else til 12am when we decide to go to bed!
As you can see, it's a very fun schedule!... not really.. it's actually quite boring.. But, BUT! THAT'S OKAY! CAUSEEEE.. I'm at college, and it's not supposed to be all happy happy fun fun flowers and sunshine. It's supposed to be STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, eat, STUDY, STUDY, sleep, STUDY, annnddddd thennnn study some more. Soooooooooo I guess I have it easy. And that's enough for me C:

And I guess the next couple days won't have anything else to them either...
we have limited internet here (which is a big pain in the butt), and we can't video or audio stream which REALLY sucks.. but Erika and I decided that we should write our blogs onto the computer so that the next time we get internet, we can just post them right online! Which is an awesome idea! That way we can still write our daily thoughts and events whithout trying to condense them all into one post.. like what I'm doing now.. HA.
But that also means that our blogspots won't be updated for a few days, and then one day there will just be a billion posts all at once. which is alright. just not for you.. whoever you are.....

I always wondered who the person is I'm writing to...
I don't really have followers... just Jen and Erika. And they are updated for the most part about my life anyway.. But I always wondered if there are other people out there that do read my blog.. that I'm not just writing this all to amuse myself (which, for the most part, I am ;]), but it would be cool to know that other people like to know what I think, and are amused by my thoughts.. as 'unamusing' as they are xD haha

But with that, I am off. Off to sleep in my comfy warm bed filled with dreams and happiness. The one that's underneath Erika's own warm comfy bed C:

I'M AT COLLEGE NOWWW!!!

I officially left for college and moved in yesterday, and it's been a really odd experience so far... 

I'm not used to it yet. I keep thinking that someones going to pop out and yell "SURPRISE!! It's a joke! this is actually YouthWeek!!" buuuuuttt, that's not going to happen xD I'm going to live in my beautiful new dorm and my wonderful roommate for the next 4 months.. AND BY THE WAY!!

For all of you who don't knowwww... (well obviously you wouldn't, I haven't posted it yet, and we don't have ANY INTERNET which btw, SUCKS) my roommate is ERIKA O'DOWD :DDDD

I'm really happy :] Even though it would be totally awesome to have a roommate whom you've never met before so that you could get to know them and learn about each others lives, it's still awesome to have someone you know as your roommate C: Cause Erika IS one of my good friends, and I'm really excited to live with her and get to see how we grow in God and mature together. 

I'm REALLY excited for this coming year :]

And I REALLY love our room! It's pretty spacious, and we decorated it with a ton of sticky wall decals. So it already has our mark on it C:  But we still need to go out and buy curtains, a rug, food, light bulbs, sticky-click light-things, hooks... and a ton of other stuff. But we are slowly and surely getting used to the college life. 

Orientation is tomorrow, and classes start on Wednesday.. which by the way.. 

We have this program, and it's technically a class but you get to choose what you want to go into... it's called A School Within A School. And you get to study either Worship, Bible Studies or Prophecy.

We were both really torn between Worship and Prophecy, but we finally both (surprise!) decided on Prophecy!! :DD And I'm REAAALLLYYY excited for it!!

I mean, I WAS really looking forward to Worship, and I was SURE I'd end up going into that... but something about Prophecy really stuck out. I'm really happy about my decision, and I hope this can help me with my walk with God a lot more C:

Soooooooo, everything is going well C: Life is good :D And hope that my future posts just keep getting better and better!! :]]]]

OMG IT'S TIME FOR COLLEGE!
Anddd, I guess I'm not really as prepared as I thought I was...


SO. Right now, it's 11:08pm Thursday August 19th 2010...
and it JUST (literally this second) hit me that I leave THIS MONDAY. Not to mention, I still need some extra things for school, I still have my last day of work (tomorrow :[), I still need to send about 18 forms into the school before I leave, AND I need to thoroughly wipe out any information that is of no importance to me and is currently contaminating my precious laptop... and then of course I still have to pack xD

does this sound at all odd to you??

cause to me, it's seems like I have soooo much to do, and 

I'm STILL procrastinating XD

THIS IS A PROBLEM

I have so little time, and so much to do.

And I just realized that I need to arrive at school a day earlier than when I thought... so go ahead and subtract 24 hours of preparation time!

OHHHHHH... much to do, much to do.... BUT DO NOT FEAR!!

I have a game plan C:

Being as I have SOME time before work tomorrow, I am going to...

A. Get all of my clothes together in as few bags as possible,

B. Organize every item that I plan to bring to school with me (which is A LOT)

C. Try to finish most-to-all of it before 10a

As you can see, it's going to be a pretty hectic day haha..

So for all of you that like to read my precious blog, get ready for some missed posts.. it's going to get BUSY!

Just for the heck of it, I decided to update my blog..

I don't really have much to say, just because my life has been so boring.. and always has been haha

At least, I don't find anything interesting about it.....

Lately I've just been trying to see all my friends before I leave next monday.

oh geez.

I'm just gonna say it now. I DO NOT feel like I should be going off to college!!

It's way too soon! I'm only 18! I feel like I just entered high school last week!

I haven't even lived my teenage life to the fullest yet!

I'm already being thrown into the adult world!!

THIS IS NOT OK

Heck, I don't even feel like I'm old enough. I've watched all my friends and relatives leave for college and they seem like they've fully completed basically every step there possibly is for you in your social and school life 

before you leave for college. And here I am..

I am in no way socially mature, so I feel like even though I know a good majority of the people 

that are attending the school I'm going to, I'm still going to make a complete fool of myself.

Like always >.<'

I feel 12 again.

It's weird...

You don't truly understand how fast time flies until you look up and realize that it's time to get a move on and join the "adult world."

And then joining the adult world turns into paying taxes, and buying your own apartment, depending on your job to pay all your bills instead of your parents, and actually getting a REAL job. Like working in an OFFICE, and not just Johnny Rockets..

........

I should prolly shut up now xD

I don't like getting old.

I miss being a kid.

seriously.

So not too long ago I used to hate Taco Bell.. but now I can't stop eating it.
I think it's becoming a serious problem... kinda. Maybe I need to start mixing in some other source of unhealthiness just so I feel like my addiction can be tamed. Or maybe so my mind will know it's not just Taco Bell to blame for some unexpected weight gain xD

Anyway, I bought some stuff for college today. A hairdryer, Sheets, a planner, and some other random dorm crap. I thought that anything else I MAY POSSIBLY need for my dorm I'll just get when I'm there. Make a quick trip to Wal*Mart and stock up :] I'd probably look like an unprepared, foolish freshman.. but hey, what am I gonna do? Buy a ton of stuff just to mail back to my mom and have her return it for me?? No thanks. I'd rather look like an idiot...
I'd also rather take that chance to check out the neighboring.... 'things' they have xD such as stores. And that's basically it.... What can I say? I need some place to blow my money while I'm at college ;]

Oh hey there!

For those of you that don't know.... this is officially blog number one.

No, there are no secret things that I have released previously to this that you would want to know. Because clearly, this is all there is.. just me and this really annoying font... 

SO! Let's start things off with something real and interesting, like my day (if by any chance you find it interesting...)

Today I worked. A REALLY LONG SHIFT. Well, actually thats a lie. I was scheduled for 8 hours and I got sent home early xD but it did seem long >.<" I was making milkshakes (no, they didn't bring all the boys to the yard) and there were certainly a lot of them. We got really busy for lunch and I had to mash ice cream and concoct tasty deliciousness for the whole 6 hours. Talk about tiring... but I fought through it :] annnndddd I managed to make all 1238476283471987646 milkshakes that were ordered :D 

When I was finally finished with work I spent the rest of the day updating my Ipod and buying a whole days earnings on some beautiful music :]

I bought music from artists such as, Switchfoot, Automatic Loveletter, Kate Nash, Pomplamoose, My Terrible Friend, VersaEmerge, and Ingrid Michaelson. I'd say I accomplished quite a bit! Especially since I've been trying to fix my Ipod for the past 2 months and finally managed to! :]]] 

It absolutely made my day :D

But unfortunately I had to pick up my brother at work later that night at 10p... and of course, he had to call me on the way there that he wouldn't be out for another half hour (which by the way, turned into 50 mins)

So after all that was said and done, I made it back home. I have this whole weekend off and I'm quite excited :D I need to do some major college shopping and I'm definitely looking forward to it. Most of my friends already completed a bunch of it, but I need plenty of things for my dorm in itself, and I'm ready to tackle the stores! :]]]
